Which shape is your venue?
Repose has one rule, counting the people in a space minute by minute, and a few settings that bend it to the room you actually have. Pick the shape closest to yours.
- A shared space with a headcount limit
A communal sauna, a bathhouse floor, a recovery lounge. There is no class and no timetable, just a space that fits a certain number of people at once and a steady stream of them coming and going.
- Private rooms by the hour
A float centre with four tanks. Two private sauna suites. A room with an ice bath and a sauna that one party has to themselves. Each room is its own thing, with its own turnaround, and a booking takes the whole room.
- A shared space with bookable extras
A recovery space where the saunas take twenty people but there are only three ice baths. Or a bathhouse with a plunge pool that fits two. Everyone pays for the room; the scarce thing needs its own count.
- Switching from Mindbody or Momence
Studio platforms were built around classes, instructors and rosters, with their own payment processing and their own customer list. A recovery venue on Shopify can do without all three.
Or start from the kind of venue
- Sauna and bathhouse
Sell timed sessions, passes and memberships for a sauna or bathhouse through your Shopify store. Repose counts the people in the room, not seats in a class.
- Ice bath and contrast therapy
Book ice baths, cold plunges and contrast therapy sessions through Shopify. Repose handles a few baths with short sessions, a shared sauna, and passes that cover one or both.
- Float centre
Book float tanks by the session through your Shopify store. One booking per tank, a long turnaround, packs and memberships paid in your own checkout.
- Cryotherapy
Book whole-body cryotherapy, compression and other short recovery sessions through Shopify. Short sessions, one person at a time, sold as visits, packs and memberships.
- Infrared sauna studio
Book private infrared sauna cabins by the session through your Shopify store. One cabin per booking, a short turnaround, memberships and packs in your own checkout.
- Recovery lounge in a gym
A sauna, ice bath and recovery area inside a gym, bookable by members and the public through Shopify. Repose sells entry, passes and memberships without touching the gym's own system.
