Documentation

Written for the person who runs the venue, in the words the Shopify admin uses. Every number in here is an example; your own venue's hours, capacity and prices are settings you control.

  1. Getting started

From install to the first customer booking, including the two steps that happen outside the app.

  2. Locations and resources

How the venue is described to the app, so it can count who is in the space.

  3. Offers

Products that grant credits or a membership, limited-run offers, and what the Offers page tells you.

  4. Memberships

A membership that renews, one that runs for a fixed time and stops, and what the app can and cannot know about renewals.

  5. The booking block

What customers see and do on your storefront, and the settings on the Session booking block.

  6. Running the desk

The Today page, bookings, customers, staff bookings, and what the app tells you it did not do.

  7. Waivers and cancellations

The wording customers agree to, what is kept as a record, and how cancelling works for customers and staff.

  8. Billing

How the plan is charged through Shopify, what counts, the cap, and what happens when things go wrong.

What Repose does not do

So that nothing here is a surprise later:

  • It sends no email to customers today. No confirmations, reminders or cancellation notices. The app says so on the Settings page and wherever a cancellation happens.
  • It does not schedule instructors or classes with rosters.
  • It does not create, edit, pause or cancel subscription plans. Shopify and your subscriptions app do that.
  • It has no member mobile app and no front-desk check-in device.
  • It does no marketing automation.
